That peeves me as well. I work with people who have psychological disorders that are very real and for someone without a psychology background to just dismiss it as "all in their heads" really irks me.

Negative attitude along with complaining about something you don't like.

I have no problem if you hate shopping, but I do have a problem when you complain about how much you hate shopping. I have a friend who really hates shopping, and I would never ever in my entire life shop with her because all she does is complain. She carries that negative attitude everytime we shop (which it is why we rarely shop together), and I don't want to be around with that kind of attitude. Either you don't shop or don't talk about shopping.

Anberlin, I know what u mean about chronic complainers. They do tend to get on your nerves, but I find the moment I point my finger at the complainers I am point right to myself too. Why is it so easy to be irritated with the faults of others and so hard to change ur own behavior or attitude? Or is it just me who has that problem??? I am so NOT perfect and I am too old to be hopeful that will ever change.

sun queen, I know that we all complain but let's just be honest...Some people just complain about every thing and there is no denying about that. OR...maybe it's just the topic that we complain about hahaha...You are right. I complain too. I think I might start counting and make a list of what I complain so I can change it or avoid it.

Anberlin u r too funny. I think quite often the things I see in myself I don't like or way more obvious in others. And yeah I complain about it or worse I think it every time I come it contact with the person and their faults become all the more intolerable. It's a good thing we have this peeve outlet cause u don't want hold all that crap in.

Too true!

My oldest son has several neurological disorders, but he looks "normal", what ever the hell that is!

I always knew that something was a little off. I took him to doctor after doctor only to be told, among other things, oh, he's just a boy, they're more active. Bulls***!

It took years for a correct diagnosis.

Just because you can't SEE something doesn't mean it's not there!

Ok, this is funny but I just took a quiz to see if I am a complainer, and I got "You're more Abrasive than Assertive". The result is actually quite true. There was thing that caught my attention and it said "Rather than focus on someone's character, challenge a specific action". Ehehe, I am so guilty of that! I'm not sure if this is a good sign BUT I should work on my tone. T_T

Seems like the older I get the less I complain I don't know if it is because I just don't give a whup anymore or if I have mellowed in me old age.
