Pet peeve: People content with letting others do all the work, while whining that they're bored, then complaining because somebody else is getting praise for the work they've done.

Reminds me of: people who resent others' success, but won't put forth the effort to have some success of their own.

Yes.... but then of course, some of THOSE people can see others succeeding at the same thing they're doing, and not consider the other person's achievement to be nearly as praiseworthy as theirs.

Pet peeve: When someone makes bad choices so they have a hard life and they think that makes them a better person. It's not my fault that I make/made good choices so my life is easier.

A similar peeve: When irresponsible behavior puts someone in a position where they need to take responsibility and people think they're so responsible but they don't think about the irresponsible behavior that put them in that position in the first place.

I really get peeved with people who think their feces doesn't stink.

Why don't I elaborate:

I don't work. I've never had a job. But I've applied to jobs and gone to interviews. So it's not like my lack of experience is due to lack of effort.

All I can do is try to get a job. But ultimately, there is no guarantee of a job. If no one is willing to hire me, there's nothing I can do about that.

But in all fairness, I am young and I never absolutely needed a job. If you don't need to work, why does it matter whether or not you work?

I guess what bothers me the most is when people think I'm lazy for not working.

There are other ways to measure work ethic besides a job. If I'm lazy, then why do I have 76 college credits?

I took summer classes last summer and I'm taking summer classes this summer. If I'm lazy, then why am I taking summer classes for the 2nd summer in a row?

I've been in college year round since Fall 2009.

I think summer classes are a better use of my time than finding a random dead end minimum wage job. I tried to get a job, but couldn't. My theory is if I can't get a job, I might as well find something to do over the summer. So that's why I'm taking classes. And taking summer classes has a benefit: I'm set to graduate early.

Yeah....and their farts too.... I mean, anyone in the nearby vicinity would readily dispute that, eh? Just because YOU don't think they stink, it doesn't mean that they aren't gagging the person sharing the space with you! Okay, so feces aren't the same as farts...they're not the same thing...but they do smell pretty much the same, don't they? ....... a sin is a sin is a sin is a sin......LOL
