It was uncanny
Similar when I lived in the D.C. area and the weather forecast ANY amount of snow.

Honestly I think these people have been watching too much Walking Dead. It's not the zombie apocalypse, folks. Calm down. In the meantime, I think I'll go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for this all to blow over.
If folks were smart they should have used that Costco card and ordered a Japanese-style electric bidet they had on sale for $200. Best thing ever!!!! Highly recommended.

Was at my local Safeway again yesterday, right outside of Vistancia in far N.W. Peoria and the shelves were full of everything, including all manner of TP.

So, if you need T P for your bung .... you're in good company

Wouldn't it be ironic if all the water bottles and toilet paper had corona or another virus on it

Not to much should change. It is still flu season so you should always be mindful of germs and wash hands frequently. The only people at the highest risk of dying are the elderly, young and those with immunocompromised diseases and other udnerlying conditions. The worst they can do is limit/cancel large gatherings and close schools

In other words, about 60 million Americans and an unusually large number of people in Arizona given the number of retirees living here and snowbirds visiting. Old lives matter.

Mike, I think I have figured out why there is a run on T.P. in Arizona but not in the east. If there was a SHTF scenario where citizens had to "bug out" or otherwise "go to ground", the east has fallen maple/oak/etc. leaves that could come in handy. Arizona? Your'e dealing with cactus...

The Safeway in my hood has a big floor display of TP right at the entrance! Usually it's Coke or fruit.

On the other hand, in Sun City West, Frys shelves for TP were mostly empty on Tuesday. Same for Albertsons over on Grand.

I was in Fry's yesterday and just cruised the aisles to check - no problem with sanitizer, wipes, bleach, etc

TP was pretty much gone

I don't want my to contribute to the hoarding, but we're staying to run low....... May need to buy it when I see it

CDC is now advising anyone over 60 and others who have pre-existing medical issues to stay home.

That means I should be able to go to Costco this weekend and it should be empty.
