If dogs are to be protected from children potentially spreading Covid then it stands to reason that dogs should wear masks if out in public to prevent them from spreading. Why is that so unreasonable?
LOL, no one is actually concerned about dogs getting or spreading COVID. It was mentioned in a tale about people who didn't want to directly call out a child whose parents allowed him to approach strangers without a mask on.

???
Taking no sides here.

Not sure it’s prudent to assume anyone knows the motive and mind of the woman with the dog. I took at face value what she supposedly said. If she indicated that she’s worried about her dog getting Covid then she needs to mask up her pooch.

As someone else mentioned, props to the parents for teaching their 6 year-old politeness and manners and asking the dog owner’s permission.

Outside and more than 6ft distanced from strangers (dog was on long leash). I'm sure we can all agree this is very, very low-risk.

I suspect from what the experts are saying that 2021 is going to be worse than 2020 was for most.

It will be better for those lucky enough to get a scarce covid vaccination. But with Arizona committed to giving them first to 18 year old "essential workers" and undocumented agriculture workers, it will be some time before the people likely to need a hospital bed for covid or an age-related condition will find one open.

.

Triage is done in every major hospital. If you go to the hospital ER with a head cold, you will notice that people having a heart attack or respiratory attack will be taken before you even though you have been there for six hours. And that is how it works no matter how much you scream your lungs out.

Heard it on the news tonight. Another first for Arizona. We now have the highest rate of covid infections IN THE WORLD - 120 per 100k. Good job, Doug! It takes a special level of mismanagement to accomplish that.

Ducey isn't the best, and I've acknowledged this before, but blaming him exclusively for the high rate of COVID cases is ridiculous. Los Angeles has tighter restrictions than here, yet they are another hard hit location which seems to have gotten more national attention. Should Newsom be blamed? Maybe focus on what's causing the spike, and the actions we can take. It could easily be the weather conditions playing a part: dry air causes viruses to spread at a faster rate, and our dirty air on top of it could be adding fuel to the fire.

Again, if hospitals are at full capacity, St. Luke's needs to be reopened as a backup facility. You've indicated previously that it's not open due to staffing issues ... however, if Phoenix is once again a hot spot, then more effort needs to be placed on bringing in more skilled medical staff. There are things that can be done to help mitigate the situation without forcing more shutdowns & causing economic hardship.

I see now that according to CBS news that LA County EMS types are told not to transport people that are in really bad shape and not likely to survive.
Couple that with the fact that AZ is now again number one in the nation with Covid and I wonder how long it may be before a similar order may be given in the Phoenix metro area.
