aerosol can? rarely, mainly for car-related issues, which is required for work.
is your smoking habbit required for work? nope. the point is, all of the above items you mentioned have purposes. smoking has 2 purposes: to kill you and everyone around you.
Why do you need a car?
Don't you have public transportation in San Antonio?
You're contributing to global warming.
Would you be opposed to a "special" car tax?
How 'bout a "special" aerosol tax for your car related issues?
Why are you putting bits of food in your trash?
That should be taxed. Unless of course, you've a compost pile in your yard. That would be taxed also, as you're contributing to greenhouse gases.
But, you don't own a lawnmower, so.....no compost pile in your yard. Double tax for you.

You still seem to forget the fact that all these have a purpose. And your reason for thinking cigarettes have a purpose is a joke as I explained in the previous post of mine.

Never forgot; it was duly noted, thank you anyway.
You seem to misinterpret my posts. What I'm saying is that taxing ANYTHING to oblivion (even unpopular items) is an incredible injustice to commerce. We're still capitalists, right?
It starts with the unpopular goods, then spreads to everything else.

Like electricity, fuel, etc.
Look at your phone bill lately?
Each person in my family has their own cell phones, no main house phone. I'm the only one who hardly ever calls anyone. Email is a wonderful thing.
