Reality check! Bush did not give a damn about the military! He proved that during his own enlistment(?) What little that he did was for his cronies in the military complex, can you say haliburton? Bringing up the POTUS in this discussion as no baring on anything. Obama did not serve and NO ONE in Bush's administration served either (don't count Colin Powell b/c they did not listen to him anyway) but yet started the crap in Iraq!
Reality Check-
Bush is not president any longer.
Let's live in the present.
Millard Filmore did not cause Obama's problems, nor did George Bush.
Well thats another question, how did he become a commissioned officer and get into the national guard the same day he applied, normally you need a skill or need to qualify for OCS through a test. What was his talent?
His major was in Stupidity and a minor in arrogance
His talent was in beer bonging and coke snorkling
I understand that you stated that he deserved his purple hearts but you also indicated at least one of his purple hearts was awarded for no good reason. Which is it?
Also he tried every loophole to get out of the draft?? Any proof of that?
Ok, even if he tried and failed the fact remained that he STILL SERVED being in vietnam although reluctanly still makes you a credible veteran

Well if you ask Karl Rove he will tell you GW is the more honorable of the too. Funny how they can paint a soldier that went to Vietnam as a phony but GW served his country honorably. Bush has to be one of the first soldiers that was MIA stateside.

I noticed that NO ONE still can't explain how an officer who supposely was trainined to fly served 5-6 years and only obtained the rank of 1Lt.
