Typical Dem, trying to focus on control rather than the people that are commiting the crimes. If there were no guns, murder would stop? Yeah, right. There already are gun laws. The criminals just don't care about those laws. Imagine that!
If you take away the guns of American citizens, then they cannot protect themselves from those criminals that do. Maybe if her husband had a gun himself, he wouldn't be dead???

I would assume that the fact that her husband was shot has made it impossible for her to be rational about guns.

What makes it even crazier is that Gabrielle Giffords calls herself a "Second Amendment Democrat". She very much defends the right to own a gun, and she'd probably vote against McCarthy's legislation.

Then she shouldn't be a lawmaker if she cannot separate emotion from reason. But that's what's special about NY...she can be bat**** about gun grabbing and people in her district will eat it up like flies eat s***.

Fortunately, the saner portions of the country will set her straight.

I would say she's not qualified to rationally discuss gun control then. Her emotional state interferes with her rational decision making.

I think the people in her district can make that decision without your help.

And your bias against New York is as obnoxious as the bias that some liberals have against Texas.
