I did not say abortion is ok up to the point of birth. I did say..."once born and no longer dependent on a womb to survive, a new born baby, a toddler or any age from birth to grave is not in the abortion debate."

I am in favor however of late term abortions when they meet all the medical requirements to indeed have one.

women like man, have every right to control their own bodies. what they do with them are none of your business, no matter what you might think.

I agree with you. That poster needs to step into the real world, where women have rights.

So let's go there. Before you answer let's be perfectly clear - that baby, hooked to a placenta or not, can feel, think and cry.
"Abortion fetishists"? Are you kidding me? Do you actually believe that there are people who get off on the idea of aborting an embryo or fetus or whatever you choose to call it?

fe·tish·ism

noun \-tish-ˌi-zəm\
Definition of FETISHISM

1
: belief in magical fetishes

2
: extravagant irrational devotion

3
: the pathological displacement of erotic interest and satisfaction to a fetish

(From Merriam-Webster)

Sick, sick, sick.

Such a sick idea utterly negates any possibility that I'm likely to even halfway consider anything you have to say about the subject.

By definition, hothulamaui, "no longer dependent upon a womb to survive.." *is* a condition of birth. So a baby minutes away from birth yet still connected to the womb is, by your own definition, part of the abortion debate.

So please untangle yourself. Is it OK to abort a baby minutes from birth? If not, then when is it OK? Any by what criteria do you arrive at that idea?

Yes. There are people who get a charge from power in weird ways.

By the very definition which you conveniently sourced for us, fetishism is:

2: Extravagant irrational devotion

That fairly well sums up the morally bankrupt, Dworkinist Left who worship at the altar of Nihilism.

Incidentally, depriving Negroes and women of fundamental civil rights was once the LAW OF THE LAND. Care to explain why you're in favour of that then?
I'm not aware of any civil rights laws pertaining to abortion, except for Roe v. Wade. Perhaps you could provide a link.

Let's not even mention the fetish under your kilt.

Abortion fetishists, indeed.

Ah yes, I have heard that one before, it's required reading in "How To Control Yer' Wimmins" 101.

An opinion that encourages women to make the best decision for themselves is selfish?

You're dodging. You insist that abortion is OK because it's the law of the land. I just demonstrated to you where the law of the land can go wrong. So are you saying that the law is beyond question?
