My real life friends are upset at me because of my disdain for the world. One of them is a mormon and wanted me to read some passages from the Book of Mormon today.
Quote:
And if ye shall say there is no law, ye shall also say there is no sin. If ye shall say there is no sin, ye shall also say there is no righteousness. And if there be no righteousness there be no happiness. And if there be no righteousness nor happiness there be no punishment nor misery. And if these things are not there is no God. And if there is no God we are not, neither the earth; for there could have been no creation of things, neither to act nor to be acted upon; wherefore, all things must have vanished away.
It has a certain amount of validity. There can't be good without evil.
If there was no struggle and hardship, there would be no life.

I'm still shaking my head at that poll. 46%! But of course, around here they're always asking why blacks like myself vote Dem.
There's your answer. Well, at least a huge part of it.
How is making interracial marriages illegal NOT wrong?
I don't understand how some people believe that you shouldn't be allowed to marry a person simply because their skin color is different. Their love for each other is what's important, not the color of their skin.

That was my point. It was in response to a post about some people trying to keep old traditions.
I know some blacks feel the same way. And they live in very "liberal" areas. I think its less about politics and more abut ignorance. In my opinion
