In order to preserve a culture or race one has to get with another of the same culture.
That's the problem. Some people think culture is like an object in a museum that needs to be preserved unchanged for the rest of time. With human culture that is often supported by the false belief that one's own culture is better than the others.
I think one should view culture very unemotionally and objectively, preserving things that make sense, but readily adopting elements of other cultures if they make sense or appeal.
