Who are "they"?
When the RNC no longer has use for the birthers they will be relegated to their rightful non-place in history. What else can you do with a tool that is worn out and no longer serviceable?
A completely pointless observation that people seem compelled to make constantly.
People keep making that observation, because other people keep conveniently forgetting it.
Additionally it isn't pointless to those who remind us of that fact, it's only pointless to those who don't care. I don't care, you don't care, but some people DO care, and it's not up to us to dictate to others whait they should or should not care about.

“There have been many, many lawsuits trying to litigate the issue of the president’s nationality,” Segall said. “They have all been dismissed and this one should be too. In light of the frivolousness of the case, the judge has no valid authority to require the president to appear in court.”
In fact, even Obama's lawyer may not attend.
It could just be Judge Malihi and the Birthers, making noise, accomplishing nothing.
You know something, it has been 147 years since a president from Illinois let Sherman burn Atlanta and then leave a path of destruction to the sea. Now another president from Illinois is trying to impose his will on Georgia and defy their law!
This is all pointless. If the birthers had a video recording showing the President Obama being born in Hawaii and if it were attested to and notorized by God Himself, and if the founding fathers came back in person to tell them that anyone born on U.S. soil was a natural born citizen, they still would not believe it. Because, at the end of the day the President would still be black and that is all that matters to them.

Really? That's what they thought? If that was the case then, why did they need the 14th Amendment and why didn't they just leave Citizen in Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5?
