Adam Lanza didn't have an arsenal, his mother owned the firearms in question. Adam Lanza was a theif and a murderer who didn't know anything about the firearms he stole. Adam Lanza was a very sick young man who needed help. Adam Lanza is one of thousands of mentally ill people on our streets who are capable of perpetuating a major crime, with or without the use of firearms.... He was a gamer who couldn't distinguish his games from reality. Maybe the emphasis should be placed on the gaming community.

"Investigators discovered Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza kept meticulous records on previous mass murders on a 7-foot long by 4-foot wide spreadsheet that was so lengthy it needed to be printed on special equipment. The extensive spreadsheet also contained attempted murders, the New York Daily News reported.
“We were told [Lanza] had around 500 people on this sheet,” a law enforcement veteran told the paper. “Names and the number of people killed and the weapons that were used, even the precise make and model of the weapons. Bottom line - IF he was that mentally disturbed then - he should not have had access to guns. IF he was torturing small animals - then he should not have had access to guns.
He could have been taking a laundry list of medication and seen 25 psychiatrists - and this still would not have happened had he not been able to get his hands on all the guns.
Unfortunately, it is too late for his mother to take personal responsibility for her failure to properly secure her 'arsenal' OR to be smart enough to know that her son and loaded weapons - were not a good pair.
Your willingness to blame everyone but the shooter and his family doesn't sound much like 'personal responsibility' to me.

Has the media reported how these guns were stored? Have they reported how he got access? Where they in an unlocked closet? Were they in a locked room and all he needed was a key? Were they in a safe and he had to murder his mother his mother for the combination?

they had a few firearms and a few hundredd rounds of ammo. it isnt like they had very much at all.
people also call her a prepper. heck, if she was a prepper, she would have a hell of a lot more lined in hard and deep. what she has was a start and nothing more.
