10. Wyoming

Only 3 states overlap between states with high gun violence and the fewest restrictive gun laws. It has nothing to do with the ease of acquiring guns, but the demographics of those states. As was stated before, the most gun-violent states have the highest concentrations of Blacks and Hispanics, who are statistically more likely to commit crime with guns or belong to a gang, which explains this correlation.

And pointing this out now makes me racist, but it's simply an uncomfortable fact.
The majority of them are also some of the most desiderable areas in the world... wow...Montana, Kentucky, Alaska, Wyoming and IDAHO!

there would be a whole lot less crime. more guns in the hands of the law abiding citizen always means less crime.

There's no evidence of this anywhere that I know of. High levels of gun ownership usually translate into higher rates of gun violence.

Still waiting for a response to this info. An explanation why states with more guns have less murders.

Are you sure?
If you were right, the Sun Belt would be less violent than Japan, Western Europe, Canada and Australia.
Guess what?
It isn't.
I guess you're angry 'cause you are realizing that things work completely different in real life.
