I think that a criminal act really needs to be defined as an act against someone or something else. What a person does to themselves should not be a crime that is punishable by jail time.

Before their was civilized society, how were marijuana users criminal? And for what reasons??

It's a completely non-lethal plant, has tons of medicinal qualities, has tons of practical uses (clothing, rope, oil, etc), and probably looked pretty damn awesome out in the wild.


But hey, these new Christians know everything.

Even turned water to wine. He might've gotten arrested in some of our dry counties for that miracle!
