"Trayvon Martin, was suspended from school last month for having a baggie that contained marijuana residue in his book bag, a family spokesman said Monday.
"There was no substance found. There was a baggie that school officials believe may have formerly contained marijuana. There was no arrest or citation from the police," Ryan Julison said.
The Miami Herald reported that Martin was suspended two other times from school. The first time was for missing school or being late.", the second time for writing graffiti on a locker.
I hope the defense can remind the jury if the state doesn't use the mma guy. There was a clear implication that gz had a special skill with mma which gave him an advantage over a skinny kid.
Did you happen to notice, before commenting, that TM was not a skinny "kid"?
There's a good LEGAL REASON why the Judge did not let that crap come in at the trial.
Perhaps at first that "crap" might be disallowed, but once the prosecutor faulted Zimmerman for calling Martin a punk it should have been allowed in to show that Zimmerman's evaluation was correct.
So that would be NBC, ABC and the Daily News, along with countless others.
So what if Martin had a photo of marijuana leaves and a gun on his cell phone. He didn't have either marijuana or a gun in his possession the night of the shooting. It was right not to allow them in court or his suspensions from school, if they are in fact true. Martin is not on trial here.
If the prosecution presents any more witnesses or evidence, GZ may get elected mayor..
I did not see the entire testimony so I can't say for sure that the prosecution blew it, but I saw part of the prosecution examining its own cop witness and the prosecutor started arguing with her because she said they didn't even think Zimmerman committed any crime. That can't look good for them.

If TM had a history of fighting then that should be allowed.
