Obama has put a ton of debt on the shoulders of the kids born today. He and the presidents before him. How is that helping and taking care of our kids? I think the last time we had a balanced budget was when Clinton was in office and he had a Republican Congress.
You can't say you want to help kids and then do that to them. They won't even be able to have a decent life.
It doesn't matter what kind of a life a kid is born into. Doesn't matter if their parents love them or want them. Doesn't matter if their parents can afford to take care of them. All that matters is that they weren't aborted. Don't worry, "God" will provide.
Because they were told to be by their pastors and chosen media figures, and like the good little Eichmanns they are they obey without question. After Roe abortion was picked as the wedge issue to replace segregation to get idiots to the polls; as late as 1974 the Southern Baptist Convention was officially pro-choice until they realized it was an easier sell than white supremacy.
Conservatives make it a moral issue that we need to protect life, every life is valuable, every child needs to be protected... until that child is born. Once that baby's out of the mother, their tune turns to "Eff you baby AND your mother."
How can Conservatives say w/ a straight face that every child's life is precious, and at the same time actively try to strip all the protections in place to ensure that child has the basics it needs for a healthy childhood?
Cuts to school lunch programs? Cuts to SNAP benefits? Cuts to centers that provide services to newborn & young children?
What kind of depravity does it take to force someone to bring a mouth that they can't afford into the world, then abandon that family to their own devices once you realize it costs YOU money?

Intelligent conservatives or real conservatives - conserve resources. Be they fiscal or moral conservatives. The unborn are a human resource. No one can foretell the future on who or what these who have been aborted could have been or what they could have contributed. It's a great unknown...and a messing with the gene pool..The way I look at it is - every conception is an immaculate one. When two people conceive it is destiny. The hatred of children is what generates criminality.

I doubt very much there are many real conservatives that conserve left...as for liberals and their liberation - They have become what they hate. Neo-liberators. pondering if an aborted fetus would be an einstein or a manson and what that means for society is speculation that equals out in the end.
the real question has already been decided by the courts. women in america have control over their own reproductive organs. like it or not.
women in america don't have to give birth against their will.
Not all conservatives care about abortion. It's mainly the Religious Right that do and since they are such a powerful voting block, Republicans are forced to pander to them to get elected. It's as simple as that.
