It went over the top a long time ago nobody can afford to obey our millions of laws anymore,look at obamacare the employers get a break while millions of people who owe nothing and paid cash pay a fine for not using an Obama approved third party who will steal your premiums as you will never meet the deductible anyway. What I'm saying is he was out there and has first hand knowledge of how poor really is, so he tells us the story......you'd think it would be more of a priority than let's say, gun running to rebels and drug cartels.

Which takes us back in a big old circle. IL has maybe 700 gun deaths a year with 500ish in Chicago and 400 of those gang related per city estimates of 80% gang related shootings.
The current national dialogue is for federal gun laws to solve the US gun violence issue.
There is no serious national dialogue about gangs and I suspect that's because it's a less politically attractive topic.
Yup Im sure the house was full of Rhodes Scholars. Every time one of their kids are killed suddenly they are angels on Earth. Yet when you go to their Facebook page it's thug life baby!
The country has enjoyed basically unlimited gun sales & ownership for decades now with no end in sight, so areas like the south & west ghetto areas of Chicago and tragedies like Sandy Hook will become more and more part of our American way of life.
Oh, I get it - by disarming the good people, the bad people won't do harm.
