Funny you should mention that as I seldom read the Help Wanted but did yesterday where there was a long detailed ad for pickers....housing or transportation provided if necessary, $9 something an hour plus some details about piecework

Those guys with the van on TV make a lot more money than that.

Deep cuts? A program that is out of control and wastes billions in fraud? How about tying this program to all other welfare programs like EITC? You get one, then deduct the cost from the other one.

That makes total sense. Switch the U.S. over to a highly regressive tax model like the national healthcare countries have, perhaps by instituting a flat tax or a national sales tax, and switch the IRS over to coordination of welfare and public assistance benefits to save money by eliminating overlap, waste, and fraud.

An isolated situation...... Baxley News Banner, Brunswick, GA

"
"I read a police report a few days back that was actually printed in The Brunswick News last April. The report shared that a Brunswick woman had her purse stolen from inside her car at her residence. Now you may be asking why I have no pity for this woman. Take a gander at this report:

Purse stolen from woman at residence

A woman said she noticed her purse missing from her car just before 5:00 p.m. Sunday. The car was parked at her residence on Hornet Drive, Brunswick. The woman said the car had been locked, and the purse was in the back seat.

The purse was valued at $400.00, her wallet was valued at $200.00 and she said there was $800.00 cash in the purse, according to the police report. Also missing were the woman’s food stamp cards.

Did you notice the last paragraph? I wonder how many hard-working taxpayers in this community have a $400.00 purse, a $200.00 wallet and $800.00 cash in their purse or wallets? One could also question how this woman, who is using food stamps, could possibly afford such luxuries?"

I don't know where you live, but where I live people are screaming for help. Help to clean condos. Help to farm, yes, they are. Help to flip burgers. Help at the local malls. No one wants to start out and move up. Everyone wants the high paying jobs without any education or training.

Do you have a quote/source for your allegaions, or are you making things up?

Ask Obama why he wants to add 11 to 30 million illegals to the legal labor pools when there are 25 million unemployed Americans. Like the politicians will say - they need to bring in this cheap foreign labor because Americans don't want to have to work. Why else would they be planning an extremely massive amnesty?
