It was absolutely reasonable to get a gun in that situation.

I'm guessing someone like you describe, would assess the situation before he even entered the room.

Hey you too can believe in fairytales.
Guilty until proven innocent, no facts just speculation, one of the problems with people and our justice system today. I hope you never have to serve jury duty for the sake of justice.

Harris County homeowner fatally shoots intruder - Houston Chronicle

Maybe in Maryland, Vermont or another liberal eastern state its not a big issue. But in Houston, Texas, if your in the castle unannounced...

Instant rehabilitation.

A good week for thinning the herd.

But it appears he is gonna skate and his baby (tramp) girl will keep on doing what she is doing.
Do you think she'll have a hard time finding a date for the prom?

With Texas being a very strong xtian state I would not be surprised if this was an honour killing. Strange that the father did not kill his daughter though. Now the father can only wait for bail and hope like hell the boys father is not waiting for him with a scoped up 308. After all the boys father could just argue he was standing his ground.

I'm not Christian although I was raised as one. Unless it's changed drastically, I don't remember honor killings being part of the faith nor practice. You've obviously gotten them mixed up with another religious group, perhaps the same that relish killing all that disagree with their belief in a dark ages pedophile.

As for bail, the father is not under arrest nor has he been charged. I'll bet that the teens father is still shaking his head wondering how he raised such an idiot who would put himself in that situation in the first place.

Yep same as me, my Seventeen year old daughter often has her boyfriend staying in her room where they are safe. What is surprising is the number of fathers who believe their daughter are not sexually active or if they do know would prefer they went to some park where they are in some danger. It seems religion has a lot to answer for.

Why doesn't Texas just slither away and secede already? They won't be missed.
