Over one million more than were projected with the final numbers coming in. Only 27% of the enrollees were between 18 and 34. However that means that almost 6 million were over 35 with many in the what could be considered the Republican base between 50-64. Do you think those people are going to be responding to the Republican plan of repeal and lose their insurance and possible subsidies? The Republicans dont have a plan as the RSC admits since nothing has ever been voted on since 2010. Shouldn't Republicans be coming up with a plan rather than telling the 8 million sorry about your health insurance but we have ours?
ACA didnt kick in until January 2014, so of course the cancellations would have occured in late 2013 so people can sign up for the exchange.
They couldnt sign up for exchanges in 2010, 2011, 2012, so clearly they couldnt benefit from ACA during that period of time.
If you want to have an honest discussion, I'm open to it, but clearly you dont.
Yeah, that is the point. You can't then use a chart that shows the number of uninsured starting to spike at the end of 2012 are being caused by the ACA.
Using this estimate, our findings imply that roughly 2.6 million people would have reported that their plan would no longer be offered due to noncompliance with the ACA. Another 6 percent reported that their plan was cancelled for other reasons, and 75.4 percent reported that they did not receive a notice of cancellation (figure 1).
So 2.6 million people DID lose insurance because of ACA, AT LEAST
Then WTF are you arguing otherwise?
THANK YOU FOR PROVING MY POINT..
Thats 2.6M inidividuals, + another 4-5 million newly insured on medicaid, = almost EVERYONE who signed up for insurance through the exachange..
The whole time they could have just expanded medicaid and got the exact same result, which I've been saying ALL ALONG.. while you celebrate it being a success..

There was no spike at the end of 2012, it spiked at the end of 2013..

Lol, you are really reaching illogical conclusions. No what that report is saying that 2.6million would have received cancellation notices, but that doesn't mean all of those people lost their insurance. LOL.

2.6 million lost their policies thanks to 0bama huh, guess they couldn't "keep their plan." So we can shave off that 8 million figure 0bama is bragging about, to 5.4 million. We went thru all of this pain and disruption for a paltry 5 million people, out of 300 million?

Thats not at all what you quoted.

Since we don't know for sure about any of these figures, especially the ones coming from this lying, incompetent, irresponsible administration, and this inept, bald-faced lying president, let's just assume the 2.6 and 8 million are correct, just for the sake of discussion.
Lol, what chart are you looking at? It clearly shows that starting at the end of 2012 the rate of the uninsured starts going up.
This discussion is becoming pointless if you can't understand that chart....... I can't help you.
No it does not.. How old are you that you cant read a graph?
You see that little Q1 2013 line?....................................^
The number of uninsured didnt start to grow until AFER 2013 began, as policies would have come up for renewal but couldnt be renewed DUE TO ACA..
