That is complete BS, and it has been shown to you more times than I can count. I could show you the studies again, but what's the point because you'll just come back again next week to claim stoned drivers are safer than sober ones.

so you would rather spend way more money chasing, prosecuting, incarcerating, guarding, feeding and providing medical care, for the prisoners.!!!! thanks for answering the question//

Agreed. I haven't met anyone yet who smiled when they said 'I gave at the office".

So what? They are also safer than blind drivers, but that does not mean they are safer that sober drivers. Is a stoned & texting driver safer that sober & texting driver. Your argument is completely irrelevant.

Marijuana Users Are Safer Drivers Than Non-Marijuana Users, New Study Shows | Natural Solutions Radio

In fact, a recent study shows that use of medical marijuana has caused traffic related fatalities to drop by up to nine percent in states that have legalized its use. This study, titled “Medical Marijuana Laws, Traffic Fatalities, and Alcohol Consumption”, conducted by Mark Anderson and Daniel Rees in November 2011, shows that increased marijuana use amongst adults has decreased alcohol related traffic deaths in said states. This study provides solid evidence that marijuana is not only a safe substitute for alcohol, but it also makes for more safer drivers.

First you say stoned drivers are safer than sober ones, and now you claim they are safer than drunk drivers. This is why you cannot be taken seriously.

Nation wide traffic fatalities have decreased by 55% due to car safety. I am sorry it had decreased only 9% in the pot states, but maybe that should make you think about the validity of your "study".

This is the only reason I hedge on making it legal. Obviously it destroys more brain cells than people admit to.

The prohibitionist will ignore all scientific studies and will regurgitate outdated government propaganda in their never ending fight to deny people their rights, simply for the reason that they do not like something.

Simply put, if they don't do something then no one else should either. They are control freaks.
