They haven't talked to the IT people involved with the hard drive. Well they are talking to them behind the scenes and the IG is doing a new investigation on the hard drive. But, they haven't taken open testimony from the IT people yet.

In any case, its standard procedure. They almost always interview people behind the scenes. They interviewed all the other IRS employees who testified before they testified and alluded to that in the hearings where testimony was taken.

Why don't you cite the source so we can follow what was actually said without it being misinterpreted.
I cant speak for others, but for myself I want more information. The checks and balances definitely seem to be in a bit of a shambles, but they haven't all played out yet.

The deliberate misquote is particularly breath taking in that Davis specifically say no to a special prosecutor.
