We have large numbers of members of the gang MS-13 coming into this nation.
We have few border patrol agents on duty to do them taking care of illegals while the cartel are running more drugs and illegals across the border then ever before.
We have cartel snipers using suppressing sniper fire to pin down border patrols agents so they can not stop them from running drugs and illegals across the border.
We have person who are from Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan and other nations that are know to house terrorism.
We have could he a hundred thousand more person who could be carrying drug resistant TB and other drug resistant diseases into this nation, along with more gang members and more person from the middle east.
If you do not see that as a emergencies, and think it is just kids..You are beyond help.

You know, like legal immigrants do every day. I have lived on the border most of my life and it's not "the poor children" that are coming across. There are children and there are also criminals. Organized criminals that kidnap, extort, rape, murder and commit countless crimes that we all have to pay for in one way or the other. There was a time in my life when I had a great deal of compassion for illegals. That has changed as has the type of illegals that are now crossing our borders. It's not about money,, it's about public safety. The safety of every man woman and child in this country. This invasion has to be brought to a stop and those who have already invaded need to be returned to their homeland, regardless of where that may be.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Gov. Rick Perry is deploying up to 1,000 National Guard troops to the Texas-Mexico border over the next month to combat what he said Monday were criminals exploiting a surge of children pouring into the U.S. illegally.
Perry, a vocal critic of the White House's response to the border crisis who is himself mulling a second presidential run, said the state has a responsibility to act after "lip service and empty promises" from Washington.
"I will not stand idly by while our citizens are under assault and little children from Central America are detained in squalor," the governor said.
The deployment of National Guard troops, which may act in a law enforcement capacity under state authority, will cost Texas an estimated $12 million per month. They will simply be "referring and deterring" immigrants and not detaining people, Texas Adjutant General John Nichols said. But he added that the National Guard could take people into custody if need be.
"We think they'll come to us and say, 'Please take us to a Border Patrol station," Nichols said.
Messages seeking comment were left with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Perry bristled at suggestions from some Democratic state lawmakers and business groups that his move means Texas is militarizing is southern border

I know full well what it takes to come into this country legally. I have lived with legal immigrants as well as illegals all of my life.. As for my ancestry, I am Cherokee. We didn't have to come through Ellis Island.
I will concede that the process for entry into this country needs to be streamlined and less intrusive, but, at the same time it doesn't need to be a complete open door policy either. Before this can occur however, our borders need to be secured and current illegals in this country removed and repatriated with their nation of origin.

On top of that we are having members of the most violent gang in all of South America(which is just mind numbing to think how you have to out shine the worse of the worse) MS-13 are coming on top of the ones that have already come over.
