Exactly. Everytime I hear the President say "We are a nation of laws!" I want to shout "Yes, but only the laws you and Eric Holder want to enforce". Meanwhile, the press corps stands mute. It is hard to believe this is the legacy of reporters who took down a Presidency not too long ago. Their investigative instinct has been completely neutered with maybe the exception of Jake Tapper. You would think Democrats would be scared crapless that the Press can be controlled so effortlessly.

They are so blinded by their love for the man in office I doubt they are smart enough, or "stupid" as Gruber said it, and incapable of understanding that this is very bad. At least with a R in office the media will act as a watch dog instead of a dog standing ready for orders, licking his ....

I am talking about Grubers comments (it's the topic), which have been quoted a dozen times on this thread. He said that if American voters had known the healthy have to pay and sick will receive, then the whole thing would never have passed. That just happens to be the basic principle of any insurance, and nothing new. Why Gruber thought people did not know about it is beyond me.

PS You being outraged about something means nothing. I do remember people being "ourtaged" about ACA bill which they said was socialist because it includes subsidies etc. You can be outraged about things which others support, but it does not make you right and others wrong. Some people are outraged about drug legalization, but why should that mean they are more right about it than those who support it?
