Yes, there were only a handful who were ready jump into something that big. Plus a lot of the campaign money comes from the health industry.

Default Obama" I just heard about this....

LOL. Even Obama thinks we are all stupid, and have no memory.
Obama: "I just heard about this."

No. You just received your spin for more advisers.

"We had a year and a half debate...."
I ask? What debate.

Shut up and get in the back of the bus, is not debate.

It's amazing how much he learns from the news. Please, if his advisors have a scintilla of brain power they would tell him when this story broke last week. Apparently NBC finally reported on it today so the President feels the need to respond. No leadership skills.

The COUNTRY is controlled by LAWS
LAWS are controlled by POLITICIANS
POLITICIANS are controlled by VOTERS
VOTERS are controlled by PUBLIC OPINION
PUBLIC OPINION is controlled by the MEDIA (News, Hollywood, Internet...) & EDUCATION

so. whoever controls MEDIA & EDUCATION, controls the COUNTRY.

Exactly. Everytime I hear the President say "We are a nation of laws!" I want to shout "Yes, but only the laws you and Eric Holder want to enforce". Meanwhile, the press corps stands mute. It is hard to believe this is the legacy of reporters who took down a Presidency not too long ago. Their investigative instinct has been completely neutered with maybe the exception of Jake Tapper. You would think Democrats would be scared crapless that the Press can be controlled so effortlessly.

They are so blinded by their love for the man in office I doubt they are smart enough, or "stupid" as Gruber said it, and incapable of understanding that this is very bad. At least with a R in office the media will act as a watch dog instead of a dog standing ready for orders, licking his ....

Sorry I had to be so disgusting about it but that's exactly how they act.

Yes, Obama fundamentally changing America with the help of a kiss ass, cover up media and the stupid useful idiots

That just happens to be the basic principle of any insurance, and nothing new. Why Gruber thought people did not know about it is beyond me.

"If you have a law that makes explicit that healthy people pay in and sick people get money, it wouldn’t have passed,”

Everyone knows that, regardless of what Gruber thinks.

You and Obama agree in saying the details were discussed. It is Gruber and his followers who say they were not.

PS You being outraged about something means nothing. I do remember people being "ourtaged" about ACA bill which they said was socialist because it includes subsidies etc. You can be outraged about things which others support, but it does not make you right and others wrong. Some people are outraged about drug legalization, but why should that mean they are more right about it than those who support it?
You were actually responding to a post I had made a few moments before!

You were not responding to Gruber's remarks.

My post was about how 'informed' folks (via conservative outlets) were upset over the
lies' that issued from obama's lips and how the obamabots were fooled .. Not the ones who had paid attention!

That was some debate as none of the legislators who approved obamacare knew what was in it. No one could cite page or verse to defend. Proof is that Dems who approved obamacare are constantly surprosed by its requirements.

The cornhusker kickback and LA purchse were private sales.

Obama has zero credibility and generates a feeling of disgust whenver he appears as his words are just unintelligible sounds.
