Wrong.

Trump as President would be in charge of the executive branch, which enforces federal law.

Current federal law says that illegals are to be deported.

If we just start enforcing our immigration laws, turning people away at the border, instead of making ICE stand back and let everyone go, many who are here with no standing to stay would eventually self-deport, those who signed documents agreeing to be deported if they remain here illegally would go, and if the court system gets clogged--oh well. At least we are getting them out of here one by one. Americans will applaud. 500 gone, 1,000 gone, 5,000 gone, 10,000 gone. . . at least they are going.

If they really want to be here, they will seek to come here legally. America is a welcoming nation.

Well said.

This idea that we have to deport them all at once is a red herring.

Just make sure the "bad news" never stops for them.

Or, just continue sending all our jobs to slave wage nations, and teaching Americans that welfare is an acceptable alternative to work.

How would that all work out? It's much easier to collect welfare than it is to devote your life to menial labor. And we are fast becoming a welfare nation. Some would say we are there already. And I don't think many Americans are going to like paying more for just about everything we buy.

I would rather see the illegals booted out, and companies forced to pay livable wages once more. But, I don't think everyone would be so happy about the outcome.
headline...... Trump enforces current law

And the Left is also responsible for making excuses for them (as you are), for refusing to enforce existing immigration laws and for perpetuating the myth that one has to go to college in order to make something of themselves. The Left has turned working with your hands and learning a trade into dirty words.

Just because they work cheaper is justification to ignore the law and put Americans out of work?
How flipping greedy are you that you aren't willing to pay a little more for work done by Americans?

Their employers might save a bit of money by using illegal labor .....but if you think that they are passing that savings on to the consumers instead of pocketing even more profits, you're delusional.
And the American workers they displace aren't saving diddly squat, neither are the taxpayers who have to pay for the services illegals use. My wallet analogy stands on it's own logic.

100 years ago, it was LEGAL immigrants coming here.....following our laws and assimilating into society as proud Americans. Now, with the illegals....not so much.

The bull about "Poor Whites and Blacks" is a bunch of nonsense to endorse open boarders. Those are here Illegally should never get status and not one cent of American Tax money.

The burden of working here in the US is fully on the worker and it is the obligation of the employer to maintain employment laws and follow them.

Most Americans and legalized Immigrants want the law follow on immigration. The US has to managed the flow of people in the US, because of the burden it places on our infrastructure and the commitment to the US Citizen.
We bus them all over the U.S. with our tax dollars. Most never show up for court dates. Go figure.
Thousands of Illegal Immigrants Bused Across U.S. into Cities - Breitbart
The illegal immigrants who cross as incomplete family units simply enter the U.S. illegally, turn themselves in to U.S. Border Patrol agents, are processed, and then are released with a notice to appear at a future date for court proceedings. U.S. taxpayers then fund bus tickets for the illegal immigrants to go to the U.S. city of their choosing. Approximately 95 percent of the illegal immigrants never return as promised for court proceedings, according to Hector Garza, a Border Patrol agent and spokesperson for the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) Local 2455.

That debt America has could be lessoned if we fix our immigration policies.

If trump deported, if he's even elected, all illegal immigrants, what would happen?

The census bureau would count anywhere from 18-30 million, depending on whose numbers one wants to believe, fewer people in the country.

Lol. Well yes it is a big world. The fact remains that China has less manufacturing jobs than they did a decade ago due to globalization and automation.

You don't even know what you are talking about.

Would have, would have, would have.

That is sheer speculation.

Again, your argument fails.
Immigration is generally driven by instability. It isn't speculation.

They are here illegally.

We already admit 1 million legal immigrants a year.

That is more than enough
Based on what calculation?

In fact, it is too many because we don't have enough jobs for our own citizens.

But you apparently don't care about our own citizens and them having a better life, do you?
There are plenty of jobs but not enough skilled workers, workers who can pass a drug test, or have decent credit.

Have you actually looked for a job lately? There are lots...

Again, you fail basic economics. A shortage of anything makes the price go up.
Lol again you can't connect the dots.

They'll be waiting and ready to work when we cut them off welfare.
Bahahaha. You are like the opposite of the a millennial liberal with your fantasies.

There are plenty of jobs but not enough skilled workers. Hasn't nothing to do with left or right, it has everything to with Americans not being prepared for the 21st century work force.

Notice how many boomers you see working in retail?

It's the employers bro. They care about making money.
