Except that Trump would have to ask congress for the money needed to "enforce" the law.

Of course not. Trump is the right wing version of hope and change.

I agree.

But Americans do not want these jobs if they have to compete against illegals. So, we arrive at the point we are at today. Not enough Americans with the skills needed to entirely replace the illegals. With automation and lots of creativity, Americans could replace them and pay good wages, but that would be a hail Mary pass at this point. Illegals have fully disrupted the "free market".

Uh; maybe not. I say that cause countries like Germany and Japan were blown to bits during WW 2 and, word was at least the old West Germany was starting to have labor shortages between millions of young dudes killed in that war AND jobs opening up 1 side and down the other by 1951. Somehow West Germany connected the dots and was a rich country a few years later.

Or, just continue sending all our jobs to slave wage nations, and teaching Americans that welfare is an acceptable alternative to work.

How would that all work out? It's much easier to collect welfare than it is to devote your life to menial labor. And we are fast becoming a welfare nation. Some would say we are there already. And I don't think many Americans are going to like paying more for just about everything we buy.

I would rather see the illegals booted out, and companies forced to pay livable wages once more. But, I don't think everyone would be so happy about the outcome.
You must not have a lot of work experience or something.

It's not easier to collect welfare than it is to work. You must not have done much time on welfare either, so you haven't noticed how unhappy most of them are.

Forced to pay wages?

This is a free country. We don't do totalitarian fascism either.

There's more than one way to skin a cat. Wages versus COL. It's a teeter totter than can work both ways.

Well west Germany prospered because of the Marshall Plan, like most of war torn Western Europe.

Japan took a few decades longer to get back.

So yes, we can spend a bunch of money to deport 11 million people then spend a bunch of money training and getting folks prepared for those jobs... Either way it's going to cost a lot of money.

Then it's time for the US to step up and start taking care of business, starting with making life real hard for illegal aliens AND their helpers.

Nah, legalize them would be a better solution.

Not one single argument yet that makes sense for not deporting people who entered our country illegally. Not a single one. But liberal morons call Trump a bigot for saying what we ALL know is right. They need to leave and come back legally.
