What? Your first article is about Jim Justice not supporting Hillary. It has absolutely nothing to do with this thread. Did you even open it? This thread is about Mylan, it's CEO, her Dad, Joe Manchin, and the Mylan donation to the Clinton Foundation.
Your second article actually backs up the OP's post:
Quote:
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has had no comment on the price increase. But a spokesman for his campaign says Mrs. Clinton isn’t doing enough to show her opposition. He noted that Mylan has donated between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation and said that “if Hillary Clinton is as outraged as she claims” then she should direct the foundation to return “every penny” it has received
Do people just post links and pray no one actually opens them? Seriously, this is embarrassing.
It should be noted....she also received an MBA from WVU despite only completing half the work necessary.
People need to stay on this until she either resigns or is forced out. The only reason she is even in her position is because of her dad's political connections.
I once thought Joe was an OK guy. I even voted for him the first time he ran for Senate. Never again.
Sarah Jessica Parker broke all ties with the EpiPen company.
The Today mentioned this morning Joe Manchin being in an awkward position after he was calling for lowering prices for prescriptions while his daughter was making 19 million last year due to the price gauging and hurting patients.
Let's wait where this story will go next.
Maybe the Clinton's and their Clinton foundation to be making a statement. I'm not holding my breath.
It's pretty hypocritical of politicians here. They could have done something about all of this when they passed Obamacare. They could have done all of this right but instead they decided to sell out to the Pharmaceutical and insurance companies and they are now surprised when it has come back to bite them?
What a good idea it is to let the govt regulate (i.e. limit competition and politicize) the healthcare market. And for anyone who thinks price controls work, see Venezuala.
Creeps like Mylan are a symptom of a bigger disease.

Why is it that you have to look at Venezuela and not Japan? Do they not live longer on average than us? You do know they control the price of their health care also, right?
Many FDA employees are former pharmaceutical company employees who go to work for the FDA - get their pension and return to the companies for big 6 figure positions - maintaining their contacts in the FDA - a bit of collusion here. But despite the increase - the ones really paying are the insurance companies as if you go to the Mylen site - their is a card you can sign up for to pay $0 co-pays. https://www.activatethecard.com/epip...4HdQ&gclsrc=ds
Mylen does indeed donate to the Clinton Foundation and despite what others feel - it's Washington -scratch my back - I'll scratch yours. Clinton may very well have pulled strings with the FDA - holding up and not approving other companies that would have been competition.
