The conservatives on the Supreme Court ruled (Citizens United) that you can basically buy an election, that unlimited political spending by corporations is protected as "free speech". I agree with the bold by the way, but I am also saying there are a lot of flag burners who are true terrorists. How do you deal with them? I don't know.
I don't think you deal with them by attacking freedom of expression. Most recent home-grown terrorists have flown under the radar. They certainly haven't broadcast their intentions by burning a flag.

So why didn't Hillary buy the election? She spent almost double what Trump spent.

I'm sorry, I edited my remark before you posted your reply, as it seemed "framing" was a more accurate term. It was not my intention to accuse you of lying. However, to imply that the primary objection to flag burning is one of safety seems a bit less than realistic.
As for the bold, that's how I usually highlight the portion of a quote that I want to address. Do you have a better suggestion?

Luckily all of those who did vote for that are now gone but I certainly wouldn't be surprised that if the case was heard today that the vote would not be unanimous now either.
