I have already gotten that call and was there with love. As I said, it is not about disowning my child. It is about the heartbreak of having given birth to a stranger. Someone who has no vestiges of the person I knew for the last 2 decades. I truly appreciate your prayers. Thank you.

And where homosexuality is mentioned? Its been known in scholarly circles for years that the original word in the original language of the Bible did not mean what we think of as homosexuality today.
If Jesus said that he came not to do away with the law, but to fulfill it. Seems to me that he was endorsing the WORD of God and the LAW of God, which includes Leviticus. But again, I am not a Christian, nor a Theologist.

Aside from having children for various reasons, the primary and instinctual reason is to carry on the genetic line. Thus your children will have grandchildren, and so on. If a parent has a kid who turns out to be homosexual, those things are out the window.
So aside from the sickening feeling a parent might get at the thought of their daughter or son engaged in homo acts, the worst part is no grand kids. That would especially be bad if they only had one kid.
