As a gay guy who leans libertarian, I say we don't need ANY more "rights". It's a little embarrassing sometimes to be a part of a community whose leaders constantly portray us as victims.
In Palm Springs, gays do have equal rights and while there may be a few homophobes here and there, the LGBT community is generally treated with respect. You don't have to worry about losing your job or home if you come out of the closet. You generally don't have to worry about having your vehicle defaced.
The situation is not the same in places like Oklahoma, Alabama, Mississippi, or other Bible Belt areas. I (unfortunately) live in Oklahoma and there is a bill on the table to ban gay marriage here this legislative session, despite the SCOTUS ruling. Every legislative session comes with a plethora of bills designed to discriminate and marginalize the LGBT community here. I am in the closet because the social climate here makes being out, at least to everyone, difficult. You are fortunate to live in California where you aren't a second class citizen and you can be who you are without having to fear.
I don't care, but apparently I am supposed to be considerate of people who like to put things in thier butts, simply because they like to do so? Last time I checked, those people who put things in their butts were demanding they be recognized for putting things in their butts, so please excuse me if I object to a point they demand to be recognized for?
They demanded such recognition, not I.
No, YOU'RE trying to disenfranchise them based on them putting things in their butts. You're actively trying to exclude them from things that they should have the same rights to as people who don't put things in their butt.
Should we also make an exception to rights that adults are supposed to enjoy based on what you put in your mouth? Or should we accept that the things you put in your mouth should have no bearing on what rights you enjoy as an adult?

I think that what someone does with their appendage is their own business.
they are however demanding that they be recognized by where they put said appendages.
You see, they want special rights based on their selection of sexual activity.
Sorry, but some people like to have sex with hamsters, but they don't seem to be putting them on the right to recognized and given special consideration and acknowledgement catagory, well... for now they are not (though they certainly are trying) .
See, I could care less what you stick your appendage into. In fact, this should be of nobodies concern, but.. lots of mentally ill and their supporters have marches, harassed, and threatened many that if they do not publicly and legally recognize where they stick their appendage, then.. well... they are being discriminatory to well.. that practice.
I gotta go & masturbate to some gay porn. Thanks for the reminder!
You failed to answer the question.
By failing to, you acknowledge that you do approve of such behavior.
What purpose do you think it serves by making such a claim as you did?
People, here we have an example of such poor mental behavior. Rather than disagreeing with given position and moving on, they choose to antagonize, flaunt, demand attention to their behavior.
A normal person might either answer my question or they may choose not to, but to taunt with such behavior is signs of a problem. A serious problem that needs help.

It really is unfortunate.
You're referring to another person.
Time to masturbate, ta-ta!!!
