Actually, he's not in hot water at all. He wasn't a federal employee at the time because Trump fired him. I would say he is a patriot to our country. He is loyal to our constitution not the president.
That does not matter... He signed documents that forbid what he did as an employee or private citizen.
On one hand, you have a guy who's had a long career with a solid reputation for integrity.
On the other hand, you have a guy whose whole career has been based on lies and deception, and in his current job is considered to have a record of lying unmatched by any predecessor.
He leaked he had kept notes, trump then says he better hope(there is that word again) he doesn't have tapes.... Not the other way around. Trump didn't say he had tapes and Comey thought in the middle of the night, I have to get this out there.

I never said there was an investigation of Trump specifically. There IS an investigation into his campaign's ties to Russia.
Because there's a a special counselor whose only function is to investigate the Trump presidential campaign and ties to Russian officials. His one job is literally to look into "that."
The people who believe that Russia impacted the election probably believe that Moscow implanted a brain chip into all voters in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and were remote-controlling the election.
The same ones Hillary signed about handling government documents.
You left out "Classified", nothing the trumpster said to Comey that was put out for public consumption was classified, conversations do not fall under that rule. I think you just make this stuff on the fly, hey, you are learning from trump, how to wing it and fail.
