It's a matter of proportionality, something that a disturbing percentage of firearm owners seem to throw out the window once there's a chance to somehow come up with a justification to, as it is so nicely put, "drop someone due to lead poisoning".
And there's a disturbing group of apologists that allow these dirtbags to continue victimizing everyone else.

Oh those poor, poor babies, they were soooo put upon by society but,but they were about to go to college or some other such nonsense...

Eliminating someone who violates the non-aggression principle is a win for the rest of us.

Well, the non-violent among us (which would be those administering lead poisoning).

Except literally nobody in this thread, and certainly not I, have argued that. You do realize that the strawman fallacy exposes a lack of faith in your own position, right?

It wasn't a "straw man" it was a comment about what I knew would be coming sooner or later. Nice try though professor...

Once the non-aggression principle has been breached the victim has every right to defend his life and property as he sees fit.

The aggressor has forfeited all rights by breaking the NAP.

Aggressor - violent

Victim - non-violent, simply defending his life/property

Very simple concept. Not embraced by collectivist authoritarians but for those who understand natural rights...very clear.

So happy we're not living in the society you envision.

Yes. Yes, it rather was. But envisioning arguments that you can actually counter - rather than the ones you're met with - probably feels good, so you've got that going for you. Which is nice.
