We suffer as a whole and many suffer more. For example, there's no gas around town. What's the incentive for others to ship us gas faster than they normally would? If I didn't gas up before the hurricane, I would be stranded at home.
Translation: "My argument is bull**** because I can't prove a word of it so I'll just throw out a bunch of crap to try and confuse everyone into thinking I know what I'm talking about."
I don't know what the law is on price gouging during an emergency. I think the people of the neighborhood need to take it upon themselves to put this business out of business when things return to normal.
I've already posted on this: There is no normal, gas prices can fluctuate wildly (even within the same day) based on supply, demand and what the other guy on the corner is selling his for.
Gas prices don't fluctuate from $2.00 a gallon to $20.00 a gallon and you know it. You've lost the argument so you're being intentionally obtuse.

As jaded as I am, I am still surprised that people can't accept elementary logic.
