VP just gave a BIG middle finger TO consumers. One more protection for middle class bites the dust.

Updated: Grammer
All Republican Senators with the exception of Graham and Kennedy voted to nullify the rule.

Democrats/ Independents voted to keep the rule.

Not for the resolution of financial disputes with banks and credit card companies.

The banking industry has lobbied hard to roll back the regulation which gave too much leverage to consumers

yep trumpers will lie through their teeth and say they support this once Trump signs it..... otherwise they have to admit to themselves Trump is just another swamp creature protecting the banking/finance/wall street industries....
Sarah Huckabee said Trump applauded this action.

For those of us that bailed out of the GOP long ago, there aren’t many alternatives. The Democrats? Please.

On one hand we have the party of the billionaires, the GOP. On the other we have the race baiting, divisive Democrats. We need a viable third party.

Trump Org owns $ billions to banks. Trump is the beneficiary of the trust he created.

When loans are renegotiated, the public will never know how many basis point credits lenders will give to maintain good will.

Next up: Those pesky Dodd- Frank rules.

Elizabeth Warren described the repeal of this legislation as a "big, wet kiss to Wall Street". On NPR today, it was stated that under this just-repealed law, consumers received 1,000 times more money in their disputes with financial institutions, than they did under the previous and now-revived system of arbitration. The institutions choose the arbitrators, so "The deck is stacked against the consumers from the start", according to Warren.

The Republican donor class realized a long time ago that the easiest way to manipulate the working and middle classes is to have them scapegoat all of their problems on illegals, blacks, gays/transgenders, and guns. It's worked ever since, and the elites are laughing all the way to the bank.
