Is this purposeful ignorance?

They are documented as having started a working relationship in 1980.
Their relationship could have certainly preceded 1980 - people do tend to trust friends when deciding to enter into business dealings.

The campaign was but a blip in their relationship.

Here's the man on trial, as described by his daughter, with transcripts of her texts.

I believe that the accounting firm asked Manafort on three separate occasions and got that same response.

The trial is being held in Alexandria, VA, a heavily blue city. IMO just the fact that Manafort was Trump's campaign manager will be enough to convict him of something...who cares what. I suspect there are jurors who would love to send Trump a "message", the law be damned.

The judge is just making it easier for Trump to pardon Manafort. Libs will yell, but at this point who cares.

Things always look good for the prosecution at this point of a trial.

Have to wait and see what the defense brings to the table.

Roger Stone and Manafort started a consulting business several decades ago. Trump was one of their first clients.

Roger Stone, bless his soul, has his own Russian conspiracy problems with regards to WikiLeaks.

So you would like to see a man who has defrauded the US taxpayers of millions of dollars pardoned because you see it as a win for your political team. At least you're honest.
