This is some crazy stuff.
Exactly

Anything that happened in high school or college, i.e. before he was admitted to the Bar, isn't relevant here. Only his behavior since being admitted to the Bar.

People are also ignoring the 65+ women who are vouching for him. What about these women? Don't they have a voice too?

No one, and I do mean no one, is required to provide links or proof of their comments.

This is a forum, not a news organization, school, or other professional setting. People are entitled to their opinions and do not need to provide you proof. If you think they are wrong and want everyone to know that YOU provide the proof, whether it is links or something else.

I don't recall as much vitriolic stances from ANY Supreme Court nomination process except for Robert Bork and that was mostly due to his Watergate ties since he was the District Attorney who actually fired the special prosecutor during the Saturday Night Massacre. Even that wasn't as super tense. That and the Republicans who are the same party that didn't want Obama to nominate a replacement for Justice Scalia 11 months away from his exit to pushing a nomination process through in weeks to get Kavanaugh to be Justice Kennedy's replacement before the midterms.
Other Justices weren't accused of Rape by the democrats or the GOP. Other justices haven't faced what Kavanaugh has. He is justified in his outrage.
Why would anyone believe an unfounded conspiracy theory? There is more evidence of a conspiracy than what Ford had when she accused him of rape. Feinstein sat on evidence long enough to possibly delay a vote.
The Denms came out in mass condemning Kavanaugh for his alleged attempted rape. In other words they painted him as guilty.

I am no conservative I am a conservative leaning Independent. I dont care if Kavanaugh is selected or not. I care about the crap the democrats pulled. The guilty until proven innocent approach. Now many of the very posters who claimed because it wasn't a trial Presumption of innocence doesn't matter. Now the talking point is that it was a job interview. I never heard of any job interview where you are first accused of a heinous crime then required to defend your self.
Ginsburg is absolutely political and absolutely biased. They all are to some extent. That is why the 2 parties push hard to get their pick in there. They a justice who thinks like they do.

Finally. Because the GOP did it isn't a valid excuse for anyone else. But for the record the GOP as a group did not accuse any of Obama's picks of rape based upon the most unfound allegations ever.

The goalposts on Kav are ever moving, and the Dems have all but left Ford at the curb. Now its on to him being a drunken liar, none of which have been proven over the course of his judicial career.

For me, l don't care if he is confirmed. Move on to the next candidate and lets watch the Dems make complete fools of themselves all over again. This will bode well for the Repubs at the voting booth.

I dont know what fantasy land you live in to believe politicians dont lie, Lol
Iirc, you're not a big fan of Trump, the rnc, Kavanaugh, etc. Probably not a big fan of me, but thank you for being reasonable here.

I think if we're ever going to stop growing further apart as a nation, this stuff they pulled with Ford may be the start of that.

I've got an idea of starting a new poll wrt thjs topic.

30 hours of argument starts this morning. Hope they keep a fire extinguisher handy when all the Lib heads start exploding on the Senate floor.

Should be fun to hear (or not).

Donald Trump, the reality star, coached Kavanaugh on how to act and what to say doing his hearing. You can't blame the Democrats for Kavanaugh's temperament, blame Kavanaugh, he chose to play politics. Kavanaugh was just evasive and scripted.

If Clarence Thomas is serving on the Supreme Court, so should Brett Kavanaugh, fair is fair, even though both lied during their hearings.
