Funny how Schumer and Obama's signature was on the wall bill back in 2006 for the 700 miles on the most porous areas of our border but now it's a waste of money? Huh?

You know it’s not about the money, the opposition is purely political and the democrat party has shifted much further to the left since then.
Democrats and Pelosi are doing the right thing. Why? Just last year before the House turned blue, American Democrat voters were up in arms about Democrats being too soft and giving in to the GOP and Individual 1's temper tantrums. Individual 1 lied to get into the WH and he continues to lie to his base which includes Russia. The right should be blaming Individual 1. He makes up a fake border crisis, Mexico paying for the wall and owning the shutdown. He lies and expects Democrats to dig him out of the mess he created. No way. Then Individual 1 supporters including rural voters that voted for the con are affected now.
I listened to a few Individual 1 supporter on the radio. They are in a dire situation with the shutdown. They depend on the Department of Ag for their income and livelihood. Most of them blame Individual 1 like most of America. Yet Individual 1 supporters repeat the talking points of Breitbart and Sean Hannity to justify their rhetoric.
New flash folks: Sean Hannity is on Individual 1's and Russia's payroll. He has a leg in the game. You can't expect him to give a fair and balanced view of anything related to the administration or Russia. He is a millionaire. He has nothing to lose but feed you made up hysteria and fake talking points to boost his viewership and Individual 1's position in the WH so they can continue to make millions off corporations and foreign entities for their ear in passing laws and regulations (T-Moblie merger, Russia etc) to boost their agenda to make money off the American people.
Democrats don't need to budge because Individual 1 and his pony show is corrupt and chaotic as it gets folks. I'm glad that Democrats developed a backbone. Politically, you hit a bully between the eye. Good job Nancy! Keep fighting the good fight lady!
Why are you sure of that? What plan has Trump presented that would support such an assumption?

The Bottom Line: Walls Work. When it comes to stopping drugs and illegal aliens from crossing our borders, border walls have proven to be extremely effective. Border security relies on a combination of border infrastructure, technology, personnel and partnerships with law enforcement at the state, local, tribal, and federal level. For example, when we installed a border wall in the Yuma Sector, we have seen border apprehensions decrease by 90 percent. In San Diego, we saw on Sunday that dilapidated, decades-old barriers are not sufficient for today’s threat and need to be removed so new – up to 30 foot wall sections can be completed.
But damned the people that actually patrol the border....
Where is the budget justification for the $5.7 billion? Where is the proposed wall going to be put? What is the wall going to be made out of ? Where is the cost-benefit analysis? Where is the feasibility study? There are no specifics for the proposed wall. None. Just a $5.7 billion budget ask.

The GOP had control for 2 years under Individual 1. Please remember that folks. They are as incompetent under Individual 1 as a party could be falling behind a corrupt leader. The party of Reagan would have put Americans first.
