Green new disaster.

I recollect seeing a documentary where ex-slaves were given properties on the Carolina barrier islands along with army surplus mules at the end of the Civil War.
Can anyone confirm that?
Absolutely! Ever been to Beaufort, SC? Decendents still on Lady's Island. Many islands still in possession but now with land values skyrocketing along the coast, many cant afford the taxes.
Can you even imagine the carnage that would occur in this country though, if reparations were given out to a certain segment of society?
Said segment already commits an astronomical amount of this country's crime...it would literally turn America into even more of a s---hole than it already is.
