This. What is this shooting through windows thing. Like the cop that shot the lady in her pajamas, firing past his partner through the window at this woman.

Nevermind the cop who shot the poor guy eating ice cream in his apartment from the door.

These cops are cowardly babies, not the brave level headed police we need to actually keep our communities safe.

On top of it, this cop recklessly shot into a home where he presumably knew there was a woman and a CHILD!!

I really hope this one pays. There has to be a limit to this tragic nonsense.

This is going to be very hard to defend, if the article truly reflects what happened. How awful.
Will you change your story IF it is found out to NOT be true?

Correct. The cop did NOT identify himself. He just yelled "put your hands up" and immediately opened fire.

I don't know where you got your info from. He did not announce he was a cop. He told her to put her hands up and then shot thru the window.

English may be my second language, but I know enough to understand that "hands up" does not equate to "police".

Edit.

I see that conservatives are already hard at work to twist this one.

It’s soooo easy to be an armchair quarterback.

We went through this with Amber Guyger.

In Texas, "manslaughter" means someone was killed inadvertently.

If the gun was aimed deliberately, the trigger was pulled deliberately, and the person aimed at was the person shot, it can not be "manslaughter" in Texas. It is either justifiable homicide or it is murder.

In Texas, Murder is either "plain" murder or it is murder with aggravating circumstances (such as pre-meditation) that raise it to "capital murder."

Welfare check. What if the lady was having a stroke, what if she couldn't put her hands up.
