This is a hapless donor who got a cushy job in exchange for $1 million donation and had no idea what he was walking into. After others testified and his memory 'refreshed' he remembered a lot of details.
Sondland does not want to go to jail for this gang, so he is telling everything he knows. Smart move.

You can take your complaint to the White House and ask them why, to this day, they have been unable to come up with any plausible reason as to why the aid was withheld (other than illegal quid pro quo), much less support such a claim with contemporaneous documents.
Exactly. All the Trump supporters have never been able to answer that question. Devin Nunes can deflect, excuse, and rationalize all day long, but even he has no answer to that question.
