Nope, quite true.

I haven't followed this thoroughly, but I did see that the FBI has arrested a Canadian neo-Nazi who was planning to attend - Patrik Jordan Mathews. They got him for illegal entry, along with two American guys who'd facilitated smuggling him into the country. The trio was quite open about their intentions, which were just what you deny.

Their sort of rhetoric draws the crazies out, just as it did in Charlottesville, and I think Northam is wise to plan ahead and take logical precautions, in the interests of public safety and protecting public property (the very historic Virginia State Capitol, which was designed by Thomas Jefferson).

I'd say that is propaganda. It's like saying an Atomic Bomb isn't very big because the case isn't and if we dropped it on a enclosed stadium it would only make a small hole in the roof. Period.

Believe it or not, educated Americans learn about Kinetic energy and such things in grade or middle school. In the 1960's, when I was a young teen, everyone knew exactly why the M-16 was designed as it was....and virtually no one (or very few) had or wanted one. Yet, of course, there were more hunters then.....

I'm not debating the right to self-defense. I'm simply saying that lying to people by omission purposely is not the proper way to discuss a subject. One could use the same examples on the other "side". When people blindly quote gun deaths without considering purposeful and considered suicides they are "lying" in a sense, although they are often lying from lack of knowledge.

But when an Infantryman posts a tiny hole and says that's what an AR with the good ammo does...that's complete BS, no matter how many words one might want to use to cover up the facts. As I said, results matter. Ask the surgeons. They know better than most anyone else.

Your other points are outside the scope of the debate...that is, handguns and stuff.
The debate is a gun ban by EO. Your entire argument is based around the .223 round. Also outside of the scope.

You have to admit it is pretty funny that violent white supremacists are smuggling illegal aliens into the country, on their way to disrupt a 'peaceful rally.'

"...A federal criminal complaint has been filed charging three alleged members of the racially motivated violent extremist group “The Base†with firearms and alien-related charges. The complaint charges Brian Mark Lemley, Jr., age 33, of Elkton, Maryland, and Newark, Delaware, and William Garfield Bilbrough IV, age 19, of Denton, Maryland, with transporting and harboring aliens and conspiring to do so. Lemley is also charged with transporting a machine gun and disposing of a firearm and ammunition to an alien unlawfully present in the United States. Further, the complaint charges Lemley and Canadian national Patrik Jordan Mathews, age 27, currently of Newark, Delaware, with transporting a firearm and ammunition with intent to commit a felony. The complaint also charges Mathews with being an alien in possession of a firearm and ammunition. The complaint was filed January 14, 2020, and was unsealed today upon their arrests by the FBI..."

The "illegals" were White Canadian compatriots of the Hitler humpers. You seem to be trying to steer folks to believe they were coyote smuggling Central American or Mexican illegals. THAT would be ...odd.

As it stands the reality is not that eyebrow raising.

No, you don't seem to understand it, dear. Not at all. Why again are you so fearful of a public safety directive in Richmond, Virginia?

BTW the temporary ban on weapons includes firearms, sticks, torches, bats, shields, helmets and more. Cars are always banned on the grounds. Trying to prevent another Charlottesville is a "bad" thing?

Charlottesville means much more than that horrific homicide.... to Virginians and all American citizens alike. Why do you diminish that dark day in our USA? That car death was not the only dreadful, awful and frightful tragedy. Preventing a repeat and protecting public safety seems to be a part of a governor's duties.

Lol. The government can nab one illegal Canadian immigrant but 17-30 million illegals are living in America, let's get them driver licenses.

Not to even mention that the State will have the daylights sued out of it if the Gov fails to institute reasonable safety measures at the event and someone gets hurt - in the light of numerous death and terrorist threats made all over social media and youtube (and email) by the lunatics, goons and nutjobs that happens to dominate that movement, including locally in VA.

Well Charlottesville did remove the same version of car that killed Heather Heyer from its Police car fleet. That should've made everyone feel much better.

The arrested illegal Canadian kind of looks like Ivan Drago from Rocky... he passed the purity blondeness test, so they were OK with him, may be were hoping to use him to save the white race here by having him date a lot (after banning abortions, as these civil war/boogaloo nutjob types always want).

Well they did have their test rally in December and no one really noticed it.

Probably because the lunatics haven't woken up and unveiled their full threats campaign yet, it seemed to be picking up from early December and on.
