All these Trumpers so invested in the inner workings and future of the Democratic Party.

Where is TRUMP's fantastic and cheaper alternative?
How come the GOP has failed for 10 years to come up with a viable alternative?
They had both Houses of Congress for 8 years and did nothing about it.
It's because they don't care about the issue and never have.

Right. Why should they? They don't need to. They and their family members are likely in quite good health. For rare times of illness, Congress people get very good health insurance from the government.

Absolutely correct!

The elitists (posing as hating elitists), the University bubble dwellers that never worked a day in their lives, those easily persuaded to vote for FREE STUFF (which we workers pay for) and most union members vote for what used to be the blue collar protecting Dem's.

They abandoned the middle class two decades ago.

They are surviving on the fumes of something long gone. This is why they need open borders and blanket citizenship.

The party is fractured and could fold after Trump is re-elected. I honestly believe they have two choices. Come to their senses and move back to the middle (the REAL MIDDLE) or let the party move to openly Marxism under the guise (lie) of Democratic Socialism (an oxymoron) which will force the millions of moderate liberals to move to the Pubs or Libertarian parties.

I honestly believe the later will take place.

You keep ignoring the obvious: Republican policies bent upon maximizing corporate profits at the expense of people have been hell bent upon undoing all of our regulations. You can see it yourself in the current policies of the Trump administration (not that the two Bush administrations nor the Reagan administration were substantially any better).

The Republicans recently tried to dismantle or neuter the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and have always been against workplace safety, product safety and informative product labeling, safe tools and machinery & convenience appliances and a fair minimum wage, among other things. You know this.
Yes Richard Nixon hated workplace safety so much he created OSHA, and signed the Federal Coal Mine Health and Safety Act, creating the Mining Enforcement and Safety Administration, now MSHA.

Bill Clinton did wonders for American union workers with NAFTA, and helping get China full WTO access.

Obama also sounded very supportive when telling this union steelworker that American steel workers are pretty well sh@t out of luck, and need to learn to do something else.

Let's also not forget Obama's massive tax increase known as the affordable care act. That was a gut punch for middle class Americans. Possibly the most misnamed bill in US History.

So he tells them the truth. Is the steel industry booming again under Trump?
I guess you would prefer pie in the sky promises like when he told coal miners he was going to bring that industry back. So far 19 Coal companies in the US have declared bankruptcy since Trump took office but he at least he made those miners feel good right?

~30,000,000 Americans are still w/o healthcare insurance, & the # is growing by ~1M/yr right now. They cannot afford the "affordable" healthcare act which proved to be UN-affordable...

https://www.kff.org/uninsured/issue-...ed-population/

This link is 2 years old, but it shows the trends of growing #'s of uninsured Americans.

When ACA went into effect, 42M were w/o coverage. Obama & Pelosi tore down the entire industry to get 12M Americans covered, & most of those people were given the coverage via supplements.

Deductibels are now higher, & coverages lower. Pre-ACA 85% of those covered were happy with their coverage...today, only 52% are happy with the ACA & many of those are taking the supplements.

https://www.kff.org/health-reform/po...able-care-act/

During the time the Republicans had a majority in the house, they had RINO obstructionists who blocked repeal & replace numerous times. McCain lied to Republican leaders saying he'd vote to repeal & replace, then voted against it, so the bill failed by his 1 vote.

The UN-affordable care act is a train wreck, & the Democrats have to wear it. All the lies that were told about keeping your Doctors and Insurance have not been forgotten. Each month, when Americans pay out 40% more for their coverage than before, for higher deductibles & less coverage, they are reminded of the lies.

The Replublicans are continuously working on an ACA fix, but until they re-take the House, its useless. It doesnt look like the Pubs will retake the House in 2020, so the next chance at a fix is 2024. By 2024, there will be ~34M Americans w/o coverage, and the ACA approval rating will be well below 50%.
