Yes -- it isn't hard -- have you been with or know someone who traveled or did you....that's the extent.

And no it is pointless it is critical......community spread brings this to the next level.

It is all important right now.

I am surprised Charleston does not have more being a tourist town and a boarding spot for cruise ships. Gov. McMaster is giving a presser at 4 by the way

All countries did not get the virus at the same time. So the numbers for everyone will not all be high.

I posted WHO's site because your original comment was that the cold weather was involved.
I was not claiming that it was, but wondering if it was involved.
When the ratio of infections : deaths is strikingly high or low, one needs to investigate why.

Just finished reading the last 40 pages. Most of the posts should be in Politics and Other Controversies. Very little Corona virus information. Lots of bickering.

Has anyone seen information that indicates the effectiveness of pneumonia shots in preventing pneumonia in Corona virus patients?

I hope I say this in the right way.

The cruise ships that sails out of Charleston is Carnival and is a 4 day jaunt. You don't get a whole bunch of 'world' travelers on it.

I am sure it's a great four day get away and all but those folks mainly drove to the port and aren't likely to have been exposed to many other worldly travelers.

Vaccines against pneumonia, such as pneumococcal vaccine and Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib) vaccine, do not protect against coronavirus, which is a newly discovered virus with no vaccine or cure to date, according to the World Health Organization.

But first diagnosis doesn't necessarily mean first case -- does it?
