No.
But I do know that the overreaction has the liberal stamp all over it.
I guess Trump overreacted too then? Why have these daily task force briefings? He's never caved to what some are calling "liberal overreaction" before. Why now?
If you want to know what Trump is going to do about lifting restrictions (or not) - just watch Hannity and the other Friends over at Fox. When they say it is ok to do so, he'll go do it.
Honestly, I don't know what effect COVID-19 will have on the Election. I could see it helping Trump. I could see it hurting Trump. If Trump spins his response as not a day late and a dollar short, he might be forgiven for all his previous transgressions by the shortsighted American voter. He'll obviously maintain his support among Trump supporters regardless.
The situation with the economy is not entirely Trump's fault (I generally vote Democrat by the way). The economy was going to take a hit no matter what. I'm of the opinion that Trump spent too much time ignoring/denying the seriousness of the circumstances. He came in a bit late to do something about it. The economy would still be damaged but not as badly. However, I think the average American sees this as black and white. They see Trump touting the economy all the time. Therefore, it is easy to make that connection that if "Good Economy is due to Trump then Bad Economy is due to Trump" regardless of the correlation between a president and the economy.
Another wild card is going to be how we vote come Election Day. Republicans are very good at showing up at polling places. Supposedly Democrats are better at mail-in voting (I can't back up either of those statements though - maybe there's a study about it). If those statements are true, if battleground states suppress the vote, Trump might eke out another win in PA, MI or WI and that might net him another four years.
Frankly, I think if COVID-19 didn't happen, I think Trump would have lost the election. I think the electorate in swing states are fed up with his rhetoric. His approval ratings were near 50/50 about 2-3 weeks into his disaster mitigation. They dipped back to near normal (about -10 points) and in the last few days, jumped back up to -7 points.
It is no fantasy when the MEDIA which is 98% DEMOCRAT preaches doom and gloom 24/7 and Democrat politicians want to keep lengthening and lengthening the shutdown and economic collapse. All for political reasons. It is not about science nor health anymore.
This is load of BS. Please listen to someone other than Trump
