Sounds like 4 more years means 4 more years of whining "I can't do anything about it, its democrats fault".

That is not the kind of leadership we need. We need someone who will work with the cities to fix the problems. Whining and blame shifting is not a solution, its what got us here in the first place.
First of all Biden has been in government for 50 freaking years. his big win was passing the 1994 racist crime bill. he did nothing to fix what is broken so yea Biden is part of the problem.

secondly, democrats are the exclusive purveyors of death and destruction. Democrats are rioting, killing people and breaking things. voting for democrats is not going to stop the rampaging.

They mean this. democrats are absolutely saying they will kill people and break things if we vote for Trump.

They hate you. they want you bent and broken. They want you on your knees pledging allegiance to something other than America.

Thanks Finn for laying it out so plainly. We have seen the enemy and they vote democrat.
Kill people........??? Bend and brake you??? What on earth are you talking about?

Poor child, no one threatened to kill you

Everyone can see what I said, so why waste time inventing stuff and claiming I said it?

The mind of a Trump apologist is a mysterious and dishonest place.

Democrats say defund the police. Marxist Black Lives Matter Inc says defund the police.

People on the ground of all races say they want the police.

Country over party? Not so much...
Most people don’t protest.

Most protesters do not engage in civil unrest.

Some people say “ defund the Police”. Not all are Democrats.

What is meant by “ defund the Police” is a huge variable and likely many of those demanding it, don’t know what they mean.

The Seattle City Counsel voted to “ defund the Police” and reallocate funds to other causes. Defunding tends to be projected being as an absolute term when this city is talking about a cut in budget, not elimination of the Police Force. No agreement what to cut or how to reallocate funds.

Some of the largest per officer budgets are in Democrat majority municipalities

Then there are those who have long advocated outsourcing LE to save $$$.

According to this, dated 2018, there is an emerging trend towards defunding public LE in favor of outsourcing to private contractors, especially in small communities.

Disbanding police departments: A rising trend? - The Municipal

As an aside, Chicago has, over time, spent more than $ 1 billion to defend and settle claims of Police misconduct and wrongful death. In 2018, $118 million was spent.

Video obtained from storefronts, public cameras, police cameras and phones too often contradict the Code of Silence within some forces and cover ups.

A simple requirement all officers at a scene are required to step in and deescalate when an officer uses excessive force would have prevented the death of Geo Floyd and all that followed.

Say what you want but if LEO need more training that’s not going to happen with defunding.

With that number of shootings and murders it HAS to be all about the guns and NOTHING to do with the people pulling the triggers RIGHT ???

Lets ban all guns while ignoring the real problem that so many in this country have lost respect for themselves while having no regard for anyone else. I say if someone uses a gun in a crime and especially when shooting someone they should get locked up but then again I am old fashioned.

Mexico get their guns from us.

Yes, Mexico bring us drugs in exchange for guns and money.

Which essentially highlights one important point - it doesn't matter how strict your gun law is if you neighbor is a reckless arms dealer.

.

correct.
unless we remove all guns from earth, gun control will not work.
inevitably, they'll make their way through our porous borders and criminals will be the ones that get their hands on it, rendering the rest of us defenseless.

How many of these shootings and deaths have anything to do with protests?

In Chicago, it’s primarily black on black shootings in gang infested neighborhoods and are related to gang activity. The insane number of targeted or indiscriminate shootings in Chicago substantially predate BLM by decades.

These are often responses to challenges, turf disputes or personal - posts on social media. Sometimes there’s a misidentification. The shooters are not good shots and obviously don’t care a kid took the bullet instead of their target. There’s always tomorrow.

Most are drive by in stolen cars, based on tag tracing, when identified. Witnesses don’t respond despite rewards. Either they protect their own or fear retaliation.
