The Dolphins won’t leave anyone guessing about their intentions for the national anthem before their season opener Sunday. They will stay in the locker room while Lift Every Voice and Sing, known as the black national anthem, and the national anthem are played.
At least they're not showing favoritism by standing for one and kneeling for the other. But my issue is the flagrant favoritism being shown by playing a "black national anthem" at all. Why not show clips from Song of the South or Birth of a Nation to appease the white nationalists? Why must they feed into the division that's steadily getting worse?
all the refs were black?.....oh noes!! lmao....doubt anyone would have noticed or cared....leave politics out of the NFL or pay the piper. Watching sports is supposed to be a diversion, when it no longer is, it dies on the vine.
Most people aren't saying cancel the NFL. I've only seen one person do that. They are saying they will tune in less or not at all. That is free speech.

The NFL in the name of Equality and fairness assembles all black referee crews for multiple games to then talk about how they promote equal treatment. Yet purposely assembling an white ref squad would be racist.
No one cares if all refs happen to be black, but the Orwellian logic and hypocrisy of double standards makes me oppose the left.

Leftist double standard and hypocrisy yet again. They thrive on it.
Football is a barbaric male dominated contact sport. The game needs to evolve to modern times. My proposed changes:
1. Less competitive
2. Social distancing/no tackles
3. Cheerleaders and players should be of all genders/more diverse and not sexually demean women
4. The overall feel of the game should be not an intense sport but something where equal opportunity is presented of all different body types and abilities.
I guess in other words the football field should resemble America.
NFL TV ratings have dropped so far that the TV networks are reworking out old deals to the benefit of advertisers that expected good ratings and paid for it.
