[quote=kmom2;59065777]There are no crowds in the stands. I wonder how that factors in.

How? Tens of thousands of fans NOT buying beers, hotdogs, souvenirs, cheesehead hats, programs, etc.

i've watched my New Orleans Saints pretty much every week, and aside from the occasional comment about something related to the topic its been largely free of "woke" stuff... as a moderate I don't think its bad that the NFL are doing this and nobody I know, even Trump supporters, are turned off by it. the NFL have been a bit more chill about their endorsement of it all, as the NBA during the bubble broadcasted that message very clearly. I can probably buy into the NBA's ratings being down as they've been really forward on this message (there's a reason Jonathan Isaac's jersey was number 2 on the most sold jerseys list after he stood for the anthem).

The NFL's "will not relent" has relented a lot. Names of felons on their helmet, etc.

They still do more subtle stuff like "all black referee crews" and then talk of black history. Nothing says equality like excluding other races for talking points.

There are also nearly a million unsold tickets every week so there are more NFL fans available to boost TV ratings, but it is still down.

Tonight they had an all black officiating crew I guess for the first time ever. Wow did they gush about it. Shows just how far we have as a society to go yet. To me it should be a non issue that the crew is all black. I would have never noticed it if these idiots didn’t insist on talking about it.

Dear @NFL,
why are you transphobic? Not a single game
has ever been officiated by an all-transgender
officiating crew. Disgusting.

I guess I was lucky I had the TV muted last night. The commercials are high pitched and trigger my migraines, so I often mute the TV during the games. I don't see much television anyway.

I get tired of the BLM commercials playing randomly throughout the day, trying to recruit people.
