The reason this might be true is due to people like you
that just swallows everything he says as truth. Then people
like you prop him up because his little ego is so fragile and for some reason his cult
thinks it is their job to build him up!
True -- this new information is resulting in lots of conjecture. BUT Trump has not been 'cleared' of any wrong doing. He so much as admitted he is still being audited and there seems to be a dispute with a rather loss he claimed.
And I'd bet the rent money that that article was lawyered, and sources verified to make their case in court.
Trump loves to sue people.
Trump suing the NYT over the veracity of this article would be nothing short of precious. I'll bet the rent that there is a LOT more dirt the Times has in its files waiting for the right moment to break a story, and they might decide to dump it all in court. Trump would be in litigation for the rest of his life, and his life story would be completely public.
I doubt he'd like that a lot. He might even tweet about it.
1st thought: Does anyone believe anything NYT reports on anymore?
Yes, I do. Same goes for the Washington Post. Once Trump is out of office and all of the documents, records and history of Trump have been digested, the NYT and WaPo will be exonerated and proven to be correct.
Trump supporters don't look to government for gifts, nor to solve their problems. We do it ourselves. Get a grip.
So, with that logic.....
Why did Trump claim such a large loss on his taxes?
Surely, he should just pay his wealth bracket fairly and not
take 70,000 deductions for hair. If his hair is such a problem
that he needs to spend 70k on it, surely he would reject that
gift of a deduction and simply shave his head???
No hair, problem solved. 70k deduction goes away. His tax
bill goes up. His problem to solve, not the IRS.
Exactly who needs to get a grip?
I don't know if you checked out the deductions Trump and
Congress are no longer allowing "We the People" to take for
our own deductions at tax time now.
