looting is constitutionally protected?

Good idea, looting is wrong, protection of property is a human right.

Someone clearly has no idea what the term "big brother" means

Someone breaking into my home may not "deserve to die" either, but it's a chance they take if they do it.

If I'm a mom and pop, protecting my store and livelihood and Thug comes through the broken glass, I'm not going to ask him if he's just protesting Michael Browns death or he's out to kill me. Just like the Korean Shop owners protecting their businesses during the LA Riots. The cops aren't going to do it, and the looters want the police disbanded anyway.

Especially when sometimes people actually live upstairs above the stores, and then you have looters coming in and setting fires.

Yep. You enter unlawfully, I'm not going to sit you down and talk to you. I'm going to assume that you're there to cause me bodily harm and shoot first/ask questions later.

That would be a great way to reduce the democrat voting block for the 2020 midterms. However, the 2020 election fraud will KILL the democrats in the upcoming midterms.

NO ONE wants to reward a party that attempted a coup.

Default Florida's DeSantis moves to allow citizens to shoot looters, rioters targeting businesses

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/flo...ing-businesses

Quote:
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has drafted “anti-mob” legislation that would expand the state’s Stand Your Ground law – a move that some worry would allow armed citizens to shoot and potentially kill anyone they suspect of looting.

DeSantis’ newest legislation comes in response to months of protesting that frequently lead to rioting this summer in Florida and across the U.S., following the death of George Floyd, a black man who died after a white Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes.

The legislation is an attempt to prevent “violent and disorderly assemblies” by permitting violence against anyone involved in the “interruption or impairment” of a business, reportedly described in the draft as being a burglary within 500 feet of “violent or disorderly assembly,” according to reporting by the Miami Herald Tuesday.

This could be interesting

I'm a gun owning 2nd Amendment guy, but I'm not so sure of this one

This is one of those polarizing subjects that people don't really understand, but think they do. I predict this thread goes of the rails... early.

I'll give you the shirt off my back, but if you try and take it... well
