Bingo. I think this is the crux of it. That, and how little he donates to charity.

Even the IRS said that an audit would not preclude him from releasing his tax returns, despite his claim many times that he couldn't because he was "under audit."

He "SIGNS" the laws. Nowhere in that statement does it say, or infer, that he creates laws. That's what the legislative branch is for.
So he got the legislators to write a bill specifically to benefit him?

You’re about as bogus as Cyrus’s investigation.
Then why is he so desperate to keep his returns hidden? In any event, we will find out at some point. And if everything is perfectly legit there will be a lot of people with egg on their face.

Has the IRS come after him?
They've had his taxes all along.

He says they have, and shockingly, he has been known to lie a time or more.

A brief internet search, shows that woman's panties are worth much more than men's underware. Whatever, you do....don't wash them. They are worth more as is.

Lots of fun facts are revealed when the tax returns become public!!

Trump is a financial criminal. A white collar crook.
Once your ex-lawyer drops a dime, your taxes become evidence of the crimes.

"Interference with IRS auditOn July 29, 2019, a career IRS official filed a whistleblower complaint with the House Ways and Means Committee, Senate Finance Committee, and Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, stating that at least one Treasury Department official had inappropriately interfered in the audit process for the tax returns of the president and vice president,[112] which takes place annually in accordance with IRS policy.[113] The possibility that political appointees interfered with audits conducted by career civil servants alarmed former IRS officials and legal experts.[112] Due to stringent laws regarding disclosure of tax information, the details of the complaint have not been made public"

"if there's a subpoena for those records, they must be turned over." WRONG. Subpoenas CAN be challenged in COURT.
